Browse Abandonment Flow

Here’s how we run the Browse Abandonment Flow at my email marketing agency, with examples we built for our client, CROSSNET.

Overview: Did you see something you liked? Convert curiosity into cash with this Browse Abandonment series.

Email 1: This is a simple email letting them know that they were looking at something good and we'll encourage them to jump back in.

Pro Tip: If you have a product geared towards a season, update your email(s) as it approaches. We literally just updated this email below, now that Summer is within reach.

 

Email 2: This email is where we remind those that haven’t purchased of what they viewed and we leverage social proof to hopefully turn curiosity into conversion.

 

Email 3: We introduce a discount at this point to see if we can get them from consideration into conversion territory. The subject line here is “Hey, you might be overthinking this...”. So we’re using the discount to sweeten the pot and make this decision a yes.
