Hey there!
In this article, I’ll be sharing a few cool insights and updates with you.
Recently, I completed the thread where I gave away the 9 different types of campaigns we send for our clients. For each type, I included an email screenshot + a few relevant notes.
>>> You can view that thread here <<<
Here are the 9 different types of campaigns in a quick list:
New Product Launch Email
The Holiday/Celebration Email
Educational / Blog Related Content Email
The Special Offer / Flash Sale Email
The Current Event Email
The Celebrity / Influencer Partnership Email
The Giveaway Email
The Bundle Email
The Gifting Email
I do highly recommend checking out the Twitter thread though.
Related to the above, I wanted to share a screenshot of a real 2-week campaign calendar we put together for a client.
We typically put together a calendar for at least a month in advance but I'm still on paternity leave and doing a lot of this from my phone, so I'm sharing a screenshot I already have loaded on my phone. Also, this is a screenshot from February, but I thought this would still be worth sharing. This is how you should be thinking about your campaign calendar from a context mix.
Click here to view the 2-week campaign calendar.
You'll see that we hit various different campaign types in the screenshot. Included in the screenshot are:
New Product Launch Email
Holiday Pre-Sale / Bundle Email
Holiday Email
Educational / Content Email
Social Proof Email
Educational / Content Email
Last but not least, I just wanted to say thank you to you all. I've been so incredibly surprised by the gratitude and support of everyone on my list. Tons of you have reached out with great insight and feedback. And some of you guys have even reached out offering to help educate others.
Alex (@HorchR8) who I never met prior to creating my Twitter and email list, helped record an insanely helpful video tutorial on the topic I covered last week. I mentioned it isn't possible to easily create tracking links within Klaviyo for images and that it was only easily possible to do it for links and buttons.
Alex emailed me saying: "What you want to do is also possible with image links as well. It's actually possible with any links or custom pages that Klaviyo doesn't track natively. I can show you how to do it, you just need to install Google Tag Manager on your site, which you probably have since Google Analytics is moving into Google Tag Manager in the future."
I asked Alex to record a video explaining this longer form workaround for the community and he delivered! The video is long (16 minutes) but really cool. Thank you Alex!
You can view the video here.
I hope you all crush your week and that this email was helpful!
Best,
Chase
