About this tool
Most email marketers never know why their emails land in spam. They change the subject line, resend, and hope for the best.
This tool was built to fix that.
I have been doing ecommerce email marketing since 2016. I have sent campaigns for over 100 brands and helped generate more than $200 million in attributed revenue. The patterns that hurt deliverability show up the same way, across every ESP, every audience, every industry.
This checker runs your email through the same audit I would run on any campaign before it goes out: spam trigger words, subject line signals, preview text, personalization, HTML structure, text-to-image ratio, unsubscribe compliance, and more. You get a score, a grade, benchmarks to put it in context, and a prioritized list of exactly what to fix first.
It is free. No signup required. Use it every time before you hit send.
How it works
Paste your email
Add your subject line, preview text, and body copy. Or paste your full HTML source if you want a deeper audit covering image ratios, link density, and structural issues.
Run the analysis
The tool checks your email against 20+ deliverability signals covering content, structure, subject line strength, and engagement factors used by major spam filters.
See your score and fix list
You get a score from 0 to 100, a grade from A to F, benchmark context showing how you compare to average and top-performing ecom emails, and a prioritized list of what to fix first with specific, actionable recommendations.
What it checks
Content and spam signals
Spam trigger words, excessive capitalization, overuse of punctuation, dollar sign density, and copy patterns that reliably get emails filtered across Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail.
Subject line strength
Length, capitalization, punctuation, spam phrases, mobile truncation risk, and whether your subject includes elements that consistently drive higher open rates.
Preview text
Whether you have preview text, whether it is the right length, and whether it is doing its job of extending the subject line story before the open.
Email structure
Word count, personalization tokens, and whether the email is structured in a way that matches high-performing send patterns across ecommerce.
HTML-specific checks
Text-to-image ratio, missing alt text, link density, charset declaration, unsubscribe link compliance, and HTML structural integrity. Available when you paste full HTML source.
Benchmark context
Your score is compared against real benchmarks from ecommerce email campaigns. Average ecom email scores 58. Top performers score 80 or above. Best in class is 90 or above.
Score reference
| Score | Grade | What it means |

| 74 to 87 | B | Good foundation. A few risks with stricter filters like Outlook or corporate firewalls. |
| 58 to 73 | C | Moderate spam risk. Address high-severity issues before sending to your full list. |
| 38 to 57 | D | High spam risk. Significant fixes needed before sending to any segment. |
| Below 38 | F | Will likely go to spam. A full rewrite is needed before this email is safe to send. |
