Graduation Focused Emails
One of my brothers just graduated from college and I feel so bad that he missed his last couple months of being in-person with friends. It also sucks that he wasn’t able to have a proper graduation.
This year celebrations and big events are taking form in much different shapes and sizes than ever before. In my family and friend group, we’ve been taking it upon ourselves to do whatever we can to ensure everyone feels the love and the support, even though it’s often from a distance.
This year, we as consumers have a massive opportunity to ensure we shower those around us with everything they deserve and more. This means brands have an incredible opportunity to provide exceptional products, services, and experiences for the graduating classes around the world.
Graduation season has started and many of our brands are off to a hot start in-terms of driving engagement and revenue. I wanted to share a few examples of graduation emails from various brands that you can emulate.
Two notes based on initial data I’m seeing from our clients:
We’re seeing our brands that provide an option for product personalization do really well.
For our clients that offer gift cards as an option, we’re seeing a good amount of gift cards being purchased. Curated gift boxes are also doing well and these are great for brands because they help increase your AOV (average order value).
