I wanted to share with you how our team structures the content of our SMS Welcome Series for our clients.
The welcome series is the sequence new site visitors who've signed up for the pop-up will go through. It's meant to introduce the brand as well as try to convert them into a customer.
Message 1: Welcome Text
Welcome customer into the brand
Provide promised discount on sign up form (ex. 10% OFF if you sign up) to start customer experience with the brand
Code validity: Normally 3 or 4 days
Goal: Engage + Convert
Message 2: Discount Reminder + Value Proposition
Feature "About Us"
Remind customer that the code is about to expire: 2 or 3 days left
Goal: Educate + Convert
Message 3: Discount Reminder and Ask customer to follow social media channels of the store
Goal: Convert + Community
Message 4: Can add social content/blog type email just to keep our audience engaged. We can either craft this from scratch or just pull this from one of our best-selling campaigns.
Goal: Engage
Message 5: Last chance to use discount code + add dynamic product recommendations
